Petersberg / Monte S. Pietro is nestled in a beautiful landscape. The country farmsteads lie scattered over the woody high-altitude plateau surrounding the sleepy Alpine village of Petersberg / Monte S. Pietro with the idyllic village center (elevation: 1,389 meters above sea-level). The district has approx. 600 inhabitants. In the wintertime, the village has a practice slope for the youngsters, breathtaking cross-country skiing courses, and extensive winter hiking trails. Petersberg / Monte S. Pietro is also connected with the Latemar-Obereggen Ski Center by a shuttle bus.
