Winter Hiking

If you don't care to go skiing, you can still explore the snowy landscape – with winter hiking.

On our 20 km of winter hiking trails – some of which have been tamped down, cleared, or otherwise made more passable – you can discover many hidden facets of this fascinating world of light, snow, and ice. Recommended equipment: Sturdy winter boots with a good profile; warm clothing appropriate to the weather (perhaps including a cap and gloves); two trekking poles, if appropriate; and a warm drink or a hip flask of brandy to reward yourself when you reach the goal! By the way: You can obtain an up-to-date winter hiking trail map at the tourism office.
